That's a strange error to get. It looks like it's saying you're not allowed to reply to a journal entry, but you've been doing that here without trouble and I haven't changed any relevant part of my configuration recently.
I'm still not clear on the details, though: where exactly were you trying to reply or comment, that led to that screen?
